The Interfaith Community of San Antonio (ICSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing together the interfaith community of San Antonio to learn about the various faiths of our community through education, seminars, volunteer events, tours, and diversity days!

The ICSA aspires to inspire the community to connect, understand, and live with the acceptance that all people of different cultures, races, religions, and ways of life are interconnected and share the desire for the same goal: love and kindness.

ICSA is an interfaith organization that wants to bring children and young adults of different cultures and religions together to help their community. Through volunteering, charity work, camps, activism, and seminars, ICSA helps build acceptance, tolerance, and compassion for all the different people of the community and the world.

By connecting children and young adults from different cultures and religions, ICSA hopes to inspire compassion, kindness, and acceptance for everyone’s external differences. In order to bring peace and joy to the world that can be so disconnected and intolerant of people’s differences in language, culture, beliefs, and lifestyles, it’s necessary to help those from a young age learn the importance and beauty of those differences.

ICSA isn’t just an interfaith organization helping everyone learn about different religions and cultures, but a place to bring the community together to help other communities. By showing society that the world is a better place when everyone can get along peacefully and compassionately, this helps develop deeply rooted generosity and kindness in our children and young adults, and helps them see people for who they are and not for what they believe in.

Religion is an important part of many people’s lives. By creating an interfaith environment and learning about each other’s’ faiths and beliefs, we can help lessen the discrimination, bias, and prejudice in our world because of those beliefs. Children are the future, and it’s important to create a future where a person is not judged or discriminated against because of religion, culture, race, age, or beliefs.

With the cooperation of other religious organizations and faith leaders of our community, ICSA aims at bringing those people together to create a healthy and positive change in our world. By organizing volunteer days at religious centers to help with projects, coming together as a community to help the poor and homeless, helping the religious centers in preparing for special occasions or holidays, hosting summer camps, game nights, or seminars – whatever the project may be, we do it together.

The mission of the Interfaith Community of San Antonio is to inspire compassion, kindness, and generosity toward all members of our community. To bring together all the differences of people to help create a more tolerant, loving, and kinder world.
