Thank you for your interest in becoming a Faith Leader for ICSA! Faith Leaders are an important resource for the success and continuation of our interfaith events and projects. As a Faith Leader, you will be responsible for the outreach, communication, and assistance with planning of volunteer events, educational seminars/classes, field trips, and any other potential activity the Faith Groups have or want to have.

Faith Leaders are volunteer positions and require a minimum of 1-3 hours of your time a week, with the exception of planning and participating in events that may require several more hours. All Faith Leader positions are held for one calendar year (beginning on January 1st and ending on December 31st). Nominations open up beginning on October 1st and close on November 30th.

To qualify as a Faith Leader, you must be:

  • A leader/clergy of your faith (priest, pastor, monk, nun, etc.)
  • Active in your congregation (give sermons during services, after school programs, Sunday school, etc.)
  • Willing to outreach to other groups and denominations of your faith to participate in ICSA events and activities
  • Able to spend 1-3 hours a week to network and reach out to your Faith Groups (new and existing) for possible volunteer opportunities, educational activities, or other projects fitting for ICSA’s mission and goals
  • Maintain the position for one calendar year
Terms & Conditions for Faith Leader and Faith Groups.
By agreeing to these terms, you agree to submit your nomination as a Faith Leader for your Faith Groups. Faith Leaders will hold their position for one calendar year and must reapply every year if they choose to continue. Faith Leaders are responsible for outreach initiatives, communicate, help plan and execute events and projects, and act as liaison for all their Faith Groups (participating congregations of your faith). Faith Leaders will report to the Board of Directors of ICSA.
